Experience the Crystal Coast like you've never dreamed possible before! We are conveniently located just between Beaufort and Morehead City, NC. Our tandem jumps will feed the adrenaline junkie or if skydiving is on your bucket list we can put a check by that box. We welcome every jumper, regardless of skill and experience, as well as their families to come spend the day with us and become a member of the sky-family. Get more information below or give us a call. We offer tandem jumps year round on Saturdays and Sundays. Summer time we are open Thursdays-Sunday.

Owner and operator of Crystal Coast Skydiving, Jeffrey Plisko started his skydiving career in 1999 at Adrenaline Adventures in Wallace NC. Since then he has obtained his Coach rating, AFF instructor rating, and Tandem Instructor Rating through the United States Parachute Association and is a USPA Safety and Training Advisor.
Jeff has visited and worked at several drop zones from Virginia To Florida to seek the highest levels of training. Acting as Safety and Training Advisor, he has held his instructors and licensed jumpers to the highest industry safety standards. Recently, Jeff also obtained his FAA Senior Parachute Rigger Certificate.
Jeff Has accumulated over 3,000 Skydives including over 1000 Tandems and over 500 AFF Instructor skydives. His passion for sharing the sport of skydiving, professionalism and expertise make him highly regarded in the skydiving community
When Jeff is not skydiving, he loves going out on his boat, fishing, hunting, jet skiing, and spending time with his family!

JAKEChief PilotJake is one of the newest members of our skydive family. He started flying in 2018. In 2020 he did his first tandem skydive and decided that he wanted to become a licensed skydiver. That led to his career as jump pilot.
Jake is originally from Manassas, VA but has spent the last 4 years in Northwest Pennsylvania going to school and learning to fly. When he's not flying he loves to fish. He considers his only downfall to be Cornhole, so make sure to give him some pointers when you see him at the dropzone! |

Mark
Pilot
Mark is a new member on our team this season. Now that we have two have planes, we need more pilots! Mark is originally from Philadelphia, PA but learned to fly in Carlsbad, CA in 2011, and moved to NC shortly after. He served 12 years as an active duty member of the Marine Corps with 2 deployments to Iraq and 1 to Afghanistan. He also has an Associates Degree in Aeronautics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
When he is not working, Mark enjoys spending time with his wife and four kids, going to the beach, riding motorcycles, exploring in his Piper Cherokee, and volunteering with pilots n' Paws. |

KYLE AKA OK
Instructor
AFFI, TI, and Pilot Kyle Pitchford is a local government IT professional that enjoys spending the weekends with his feet off the ground. Since his first skydive in the summer of 1992, he’s accumulated over 1,000 jumps and over 10 hours of accumulated freefall time. He holds USPA instructional ratings for AFF, Tandem and Coach.
In addition to skydiving, he also holds a commercial pilot certificate with an instrument rating. You’ll occasionally see him flying the jump plane when CCS’s chief pilot needs to rest his arms. Outside of skydiving he has a passion for long distance running and ultra marathons. “It’s the one thing that you can do, year ’round, day or night, rain or shine, and all you need is a pair of shoes and a good attitude.” |

TRAVISInstructor
AFFI, and TI Like many, Travis' first skydive was a Tandem skydive. After that first taste of flight, he knew the sport of skydiving was something he wanted to share and teach to everyone. Travis is a D licensed skydiver and has earned his Coach, Tandem, and AFF Instructor ratings from the United States Parachute Association.

Big Kyle AKA BK
Instructor
AFFI, TI, and Rigger Kyle Katchka was a Marine stationed at Camp Lejeune and has been all over the world. He started skydiving in the summer of 2005 as a bet and has been addicted to the sport ever since. Shortly after he earned his USPA A license in 2006, Kyle took a few years off of skydiving due to military operations however has been skydiving full time since 2014. His USPA instructional ratings include Accelerated Freefall Instructor, Tandem Instructor, and USPA Coach rating.
Additionally, Kyle is a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) certificated Senior Parachute Rigger and packs the parachutes you will be jumping. When Kyle is not skydiving, he enjoys deep sea fishing, trying new breweries and seafood restaurants, visiting new areas of the eastern coast, and spending time with his family. “Life is not guaranteed. JoshLead Packer
Josh is the guy who packs our tandem parachutes before every jump! He started packing parachutes in 2012. He used packing to fund his student course to become a licensed skydiver and got his license in 2013. Since then, he estimates he has over 50,000 pack jobs, more than 400 skydives and at least 5 hours of tunnel flying time. Josh is currently training under our DZO, Jeff, to become a rigger and has recently started learning how to swoop.

SarahMarketing Manager/Manifest
Sarah started skydiving in 2017 with us and fell in love with the sky. Sarah’s creativity and love for the sport has made her a intrigal part of our dz. She also handles all of our websites, social media, and all the behind the scenes marketing campaigns. When you arrive for your tandem skydive you will be checked in by Sarah and greeted with her contagious smile (if she's not jumping!).

Parker

Parker is a student at East Carolina University. She was introduced to skydiving at an early age by her dad and tandem instructor, Kyle. He took her for her 1st tandem in 2019 and she has loved being around skydiving ever since. Now she works as a video editor for CCS!

Chandler
Video Editor
Chandler is our newest video editor. We met him at a job fair we did at West Carteret High School where he is a rising Junior. He also plays football and is a member of NJROTC. His last name is Almond which earned him the nickname Nut, or Peanut. Chandler was born in Albemarle, NC but grew up in Concord NC. He only moved east three years ago to Morehead City, NC.
Chandler wanted to work for us because of his love of aviation. He can't wait to get his pilot's license and in the future wants to be a pilot in US Navy. Most important things to Chandler: family, education, his Christian faith, and his friends. |
